NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION DELEGATION ORDER NO. NA-2021-S2-NA1-01 TO THE NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION ADMINISTRATOR DELEGATION. Under the authority vested in me as the Deputy Secretary of Energy and pursuant to section 3212 of the National Nuclear Security Administration Act (50 U.S.C. 2402), and in accordance with Department of Energy (DOE) Order 413.3B, Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets, | delegate the Project Management Executive (PME) Authority for the Los Alamos Plutonium Pit Production Project (LAP4) Decontamination and Demolition (D&D) Subproject to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Administrator. These authorities encompass the project management aspects relating to the LAP4 D&D Subproject, including Energy Systems Acquisition Advisory Board equivalents, Critical Decisions, and Quarterly Project Reviews, except for those specifically reserved for the Deputy Secretary of Energy. RESCISSION. None. LIMITATION. ai In exercising the authority delegated in this Order, the delegate shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the DOE, NNSA, and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary. 3.2. Nothing in this Order precludes the Deputy Secretary of Energy from exercising any of the authority delegated by this Order. 3.3 Any amendments to this Order shall be made in consultation with the NNSA General Counsel. AUTHORITY TO REDELEGATE. The PME authority as stated in this Delegation may not be redelegated. EFFECTIVE DATE. 5.1 A copy of this Delegation shall be provided to the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning, NNSA Directives Team. David M. Turk Deputy Secretary of Energy 5.2. This Order is effective immediately.
