WEAPON QUALITY ASSURANCE (WQA) BULLETIN NNSA WEAPON QUALITY DIVISION (NA-121.3) December 2020 Understanding the NSE Product Realization Process Diagram NAP-401.1A, Weapon Quality Policy, identifies the requirements that must be followed to realize Mark Quality products. To help communicate how those requirements are to be met, NA-121.3 has developed a Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) Product Realization Process diagram that is linked to the policy document and serves as guidance in the following ways: 1. To Document the current NSE process that is followed to realize Mark Quality products. 2. To Enhance requirement traceability as it identifies the parent NAP-401.1A requirement for each step in the process then identifies the DPBPS documents (or TBPs) that refine each step and are there to implement the parent NAP-401.1A requirement. 3. To allow the Weapon Quality Division to clearly identify the artifacts that are generated throughout the process that provide us evidence of building quality into products.
