Under the authority vested in me as Head of the Contracting Activity, Dr. Mindy S. Connolly is hereby designated the NNSA Contracting Activity Ombudsman as that title and responsibilities are described in FAR 16.505(b)(8) and DEAR 916.505(b)(6) (iii). . RESCISSION. Designation Order No. 00-24.00 is hereby rescinded, . LIMITATIONS. 3.1 This designation applies to all elements of NNSA. 3.2. In exercising the authority designated in this Order, the designee shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the policies and procedures prescribed by the Secretary and Under Secretary for Nuclear Security/Administrator. 3.3. Nothing in this Order precludes the Under Secretary for Nuclear Security/ Administrator from exercising any of the authority delegated by this Order. 3.4 Nothing in this Order shall be construed to supersede or otherwise interfere with the authorities provided to the NNSA Administrator by law or delegation. 3.5 Any amendments to this Order shall be made in consultation with the NNSA General Counsel. .
