NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION DELEGATION NO. NA-2023-NAI-NAI0-01 TO THE ASSISTANT DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR FOR PRODUCTION MODERNIZATION DELEGATION. Under the authority vested in me as the Administrator for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and pursuant to section 3212 of the National . Nuclear Security Administration Act (50 U.S.C. 2402), Delegation Order No. NA-2023- ' §2-NAI-01, and in accordance with Department of Energy Order 413.3B, Program and Project Management for the Acquisition of Capital Assets, I delegate the Project Management Executive (PME) authority for the High Explosive Synthesis, Formulation, and Production (HESFP) project to the Deputy Administrator for Defense Programs. These authorities encompass the project management aspects relating to the Pantex HESFP project, including but not limited to Energy Systems Acquisition Advisory Board equivalents, Critical Decisions, and Quarterly Project Reviews, except for those specifically reserved for the Deputy Secretary of Energy. RESCISSION. Delegation Order No. NA-2021-NA1-01 is hereby rescinded. LIMITATION. 3.1. Inexercising the authority delegated herein, a delegate is governed by the applicable rules and regulations of the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and the policies and procedures of the Secretary. 3.2. Nothing in this delegation precludes the Deputy Secretary of Energy or the Administrator from exercising any of the authority delegated by this Order. 3.3. Any amendments to this Order shall be made in consultation with the NNSA General Counsel. AUTHORITY TO REDELEGATE. The PME authority as stated in this Delegation may not be redelegated. EFFECTIVE DATE. 5.1. Acopy of this Delegation shall be provided to the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning, NNSA Directives Team. 5.2. This Delegation is effective immediately. 5.3.
